Despite the current challenges, Selby Jennings’ latest global report found that job security confidence in finance professionals remains fairly stable, with over half (57%) of global respondents feeling confident or very confident of keeping their jobs over the next six months. In addition, they are also more likely than not to receive a bonus this year, with over half (52%) receiving the same or an increased bonus compared to last year.
The global report is broken down into regions to understand the region-specific impacts. When comparing across regions, the report shows that as ‘first in, first out’, APAC is the most positive region.
Financial services respondents in APAC tend to be:
o Less negative about the job market.
o Most likely to receive a bonus.
o More confident about job security and their ability to find another job than their global counterparts.
