To help prevent illness and reduce absenteeism through effective prevention measures, quick treatment and continuous follow-up, Danica hopes to help HR and employees across Denmark. On 6 March 2025, MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) announced it is now working with Danica to augment its current offerings to include life, critical illness, disability and medical coverage to MAXIS GBN’s multinational clients in Denmark.
Dorte Bilsgaard, Chief Commercial Officer, Danica, said, “We’ve been partnering with large multinational employers in Denmark for decades and understand the challenges they face as they look to care for their people. We’re excited to be joining the MAXIS network so we can use our expertise to deliver vital insurance solutions to its clients.”
MAXIS GBN was co-founded by MetLife and AXA in 1998, providing international employee benefits networks, delivering employee benefits perspectives and solutions to clients worldwide. In February 2016, MetLife and AXA further strengthened their relationship by combining all MAXIS GBN existing operations under a joint venture company. This transformation allowed the Group to leverage the existing strength of the network and its two parent companies and further enhance their offering to HR—focusing on product innovation and providing data analytics. Currently the Group partners with over 300 multinational clients, delivering employee benefits risk management solutions via a network of local insurers in over 100 markets to just under seven million employees worldwide.
We’re excited to see how this new partnership can help our multinational clients support and care for their people in Denmark.
Iliyana Mladenova, Chief Operating Officer, MAXIS GBN
