The GMAT test–administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC)–is used in the selection process of more than 6,000 graduate business and management programs around the world. On 26 June 2014 the GMAC announced a change that would see GMAT test takers given the opportunity to preview their test scores–excluding the Analytical Writing Assessment component–immediately after taking the test. Immediately following their test they will be given two minutes to decide whether they wish to report the results or cancel them. Test takers who decided to cancel their scores at the test center will be able to reinstate them within 60 days of the test date for a USD 100 fee. These new rules came into effect on 27 June 2014 and will be available to all GMAT test takers.
