Increase driven by growing number of female executives in Shanghai
A growing number of female executives and entrepreneurs in the city of Shanghai has led to an increase in the number of women attending MBA courses.
The Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Jiaotong University has reported that interest in its Executive MBA Programme, driven by women, has propelled it up the Financial Times MBA rankings. This suggests an increase in the number of top-flight female graduates entering the job market in coming years and echoes the worldwide trend that sees an increasing number of women aiming for management-level positions.
