Moving towards a paperless world has unstoppable momentum—but according to Ipsos Connect’s 2015 Business Elite Asia Survey, old habits seemingly die hard. It reported that more than 96% of Asia’s business leaders read newspapers or magazines in print.
According to the latest survey, three out of four of them claimed to read one or more international news or business titles in print. Amongst the daily titles, most leaders preferred to read the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal Asia and the International New York Times. As for weekly publications, Time, The Economist and Bloomberg came out on top while Forbes, Bloomberg Markets and Fortune topped the monthly titles.
The results were comparable with technology with over 92% stating they had visited a website in the last month and 85% saying they accessed content via their smartphone. Although tablet computers were less popular with just over 65% saying they had accessed content this way in the last month.
