The MRI China Group recently announced its sale to a new majority owner and CEO, Christine Raynaud. The sale was completed on 29 October between Founder and former CEO, Tony Dickel and Raynaud. The executive recruitment Group is based in Hong Kong and has operations in Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Korea with over 200 staff working throughout Asia.
Christine Raynaud, a French National with more than 25 years of experience in recruitment and staffing, is considered one of the industry’s most experienced leaders. Regional Director of Manpower Inc. Asia operations, she supervised and managed their entry into nine markets including Greater China. Subsequently she was the CEO of Hudson EMEA, managing a team of more than 1,000 strong across 15 countries including the UK, Continental Europe and the Middle East.
In connection with the sale, Dickel commented, “I sold the company to Christine because I recognised she has the values, experience, knowledge and leadership skills to drive the company to the next levels while keeping its unique culture.” Dickel will remain with the company as Non-Executive Chairman in an advisory and support capacity.
