An annual ranking of national higher education systems has been revealed by Universitas 21. The report, which took analysed data on resources, academic environments, connectivity with industry and total output, found that the top five national higher education systems in 2018 were the USA, Switzerland, the UK, Sweden and Denmark.
Lead author of the report Ross Williams, Professor, The Melbourne Institute explained, "This report shows that the most successful national systems exhibit strong connectivity between institutions of higher education, government and the private sector."
