Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) organised the recently held Design Exchange Tour in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The September tour featured 12 of Hong Kong’s designers who were selected to promote the ways in which modern design is responding to technology shifts.
As part of this tour, designers and promoters also staged the flagship events ‘co-creating Hong Kong’ in San Francisco, and the ‘Think Asia, Think Hong Kong’ in Los Angeles. These events aimed to promote the view of Hong Kong as a design city, and also highlight the role of design in technology, as well as sustainability and community.
