Hong Kong designers tour California
The Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) organised the recently held Design Exchange Tour in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The September tour featured 12 of Hong Kong’s top designers, who were selected to promote the ways in which modern design is responding to technology shifts.
As part of this tour, designers and promoters also staged the flagship events ‘co-creating Hong Kong’ in San Francisco, and ‘Think Asia, Think Hong Kong’ in Los Angeles. These events were aimed at promoting the view of Hong Kong as a design city, whilst also highlighting the role of design in technology, sustainability and community.
