As a new entrant into the Randstad Employer Brand Research, Google’s strong reputation for innovation held a significant appeal to job seekers. Out of the 9 EVP drivers used to determine a company’s attractiveness score, Google was ranked #1 in all of them - leading them to win the Randstad Employer Brand Award in its very first year. The EVP drivers used to measure a company’s attractiveness this year include work-life balance, job security, pleasant work atmosphere and career progression.
Not to be outdone, Changi Airport Group came in with a close second place, an encouraging showcase of how local home-grown companies can continue to hold its own weight against global juggernauts when it comes to employer branding. This was the fourth consecutive year Changi Airport Group was ranked in the top 3, after its memorable win as Singapore’s Most Attractive Employer last year.
Three other Sector Awards were also presented tonight – with this year’s spotlight on the most attractive employers within the Property & Real Estate, Banking & Financial Services and Life Sciences sectors.
