A new level of collaboration will closely align Aspen Technology’s basic engineering solution with the detailed engineering suite from Hexagon PPM. This will enable a fully data-centric workflow across the asset lifecycle.
“The result is direct integration between process simulation, 3D models and operations will allow a major step forward in the digital journey of the engineering industry,” said Arturo Bellezza, Engineering Manager, Eni.
This collaboration announced by Hexagon PPM will help customers better manage the financial risks of complex projects, which is a major challenge today. The combined capabilities can accelerate digital transformation and enable deployment of integrated solutions from the two software providers.
Antonio Pietri, President CEO, Aspen Technology said, “This collaboration will allow customers the flexibility to choose solutions from providers across the full lifecycle, from the design phase right down to the systems that operate and maintain a project.”
Mattias Stenberg, President, Hexagon PPM said, “Based on our assessments and engagements with customers, we are confident there is potential to impact both project and operational efficiency.” He added. “Aligning project costs to decisions early in the design process reduces budget and schedule risk.
Working together, they provide a more complete digital plan, to allow operators to make better decisions that maximize throughput, quality and uptime. This will also help operators easily leverage engineering models during operations, to obtain the most from their investments and allow them to respond better to changing market conditions.
