CLP Power Hong Kong Limited was named the most attractive employer in Hong Kong at the Randstad Award 2016. The annual award, which celebrated its fourth year in Hong Kong and its 16th edition globally, was held at the Asia Society.
Taking the win for the first time, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited has consistently ranked third and fourth place over the past three editions of the Randstad Award. A total of 58% of all respondents who knew CLP Power, stated that they would like to work for them. Second and third place went to the MTR Corporation and Ocean Park, respectively.
The attractiveness factors are facets of an employer brand which are key when talent look for new companies or when deciding to stay. CLP Power Hong Kong Limited was best known for offering long-term job security, career progression, good work-life balance and financial health.

The Randstad Award is based on the outcome of the world’s largest survey into employer branding. This extensive research surveys over 200,000+ respondents across different age groups, genders and educational levels, and covers 75% of the global economy.
The 75 largest companies are selected in each participating country, usually with more than 1,000 employees. This list is presented to a representative cross section of relevant respondents based on region, age, education and gender. In Hong Kong, over 5,400 employees and job-seekers between the ages of 18-65 were surveyed.
