The expansion of the Women’s Work Initiative in the US aims to assist 1,000 women returning to the workforce after having spent time out of paid work due to motherhood or as a caregiver. Allison Robinson, CEO, The Mom Project, says, “being a parent should not result in a lifetime of career penalties. We’re working with leaders who are committed to making their organisations places where women and families can thrive.” The expansion was launched by The Mom Project and includes sectors such as technology, legal, business and healthcare.
