For 50 years, members of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) have been at the forefront of the economic and social transformation not just of Hong Kong but across APAC. The Chamber has also been the most active in Hong Kong in terms of promoting and sharing ideas in the HR sphere. Celebrating their historic achievements, at a recent symposium Tara Joseph, President, AmCham Hong Kong stated, “While acknowledging past achievements is crucial, AmCham are even more focused on the next 50 years and aim to explore the challenges and opportunities for businesses operating in the world's most dynamic region, in an age of unprecedented transformation. We want to celebrate the past and invest in the future.”
Amongst distinguished speakers, Diana David, Vice Chairman, AmCham Hong Kong shared her positive comments regarding Hong Kong’s future. She noted, “Hong Kong as an innovation centre has real promise. Not only is there innovation among young people starting businesses, but they are also thinking about sustainability. That’s what makes Hong Kong’s future so glorious.”
