AI evolution took centre stage at Techsauce Global Summit in Bangkok. AI and how it will replace almost one billion jobs worldwide drew the crowds at the Summit. Speaking at the event was Raymond Yip, Partner, Zeroth.AI, “AI is the technology that helps you complete specific tasks. ‘Machine learning’ is sometimes used anonymously. Although the ability to have machines with human-like cognition is a long time away, it’s estimated that 800 million jobs globally will be automated by 2030.”
With over 20,000 attendees, 1,900 start-ups and 400 speakers from 50 different countries, the Summit was the biggest tech conference in Southeast Asia. Other highlights of the summit were on women in tech, ecosystems, socialtech, healthtech and a unique kidstech panel.
Commenting on the value of AI to the global software industry, Raymond Yip, Partner, Zeroth.AI added, “When it comes to the growth of the AI software market, its estimated 120 billion dollars in revenue will be driven by AI in the next few years.”
