VIPs and honoured guests filled the room to help celebrate the recognition of Lewis Silkin Hong Kong as a local law firm as well as the launch of their HR consultancy worksphere. Already established in London, Oxford, Cardiff and Dublin, the new Hong Kong practice will be led by Kathryn Weaver, Employment Partner and Head of Lewis Silkin Hong Kong, along with fellow partner Andrew Wanambwa, a specialist in dispute resolution.
Cocktails and canapes were circulated around the room as people expressed their congratulations to the firm. Amongst the crowd were esteemed speakers Stephen Wong, Hong Kong’s Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Dennis Kwok, member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council—representing the legal function constituency and Esther Blythe, Deputy Head of Mission, British Consulate-General Hong Kong.

Weaver shared, “Hong Kong being such a vibrant city comes with a lot of pressure to continuously stay ahead of the game. It’s vital to offer practical solutions to support those who are suffering or in need of assistance, as well as to promote good mental wellness practices within organisations.’’
