The age of ageing
The International Longevity Council, UK (ILC) has produced worrying figures that one in three workers across the G20 is over 50, increasing over the next 20 years to four in ten. The ILC, a think-tank on the effects of ageing on society, seeks input from experts and stakeholders to produce solutions for radically changed workplaces by launching a global competition on 20 May.
This rewards the best solutions to maintain physical and mental health, encourage knowledge and skills, address discrimination and diversity, and build flexible workplaces.
The competition ends September, with the awards ceremony in early 2022. The experienced judging panel includes David Sinclair, executive director of ILC and Caroline Waters OBE, Deputy Chair, Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Details will be on https://ilcuk.org.uk at launch.
The competition furthers ILC's mission "To provoke conversations and pioneer solutions for a society where everyone can thrive, regardless of age."
