Rupert Purser manages Gereord’s financial operations in Asia, based in Hong Kong
Gereord is an up and coming leader in renewable energy generating projects across Asia Pacific, advising, financing and development. It is committed to social enterprise and betterment.
Mr. Purser is an engineer, an accountant and a transformation professional, with a passion for business improvement and step change.
He has managed numerous corporate finance, turnaround, and transformation matters in Hong Kong, Asia and the Middle East and assumed interim executive positions and served as an INED. His industry sector expertise includes Construction, Financial Services and Renewable Energy.
His previous employment includes as former AMEA Head of Business Consulting & Risk Advisory Hill International, Inc. and Managing Director for PwC Consulting Hong Kong of People & Change, Head of Corporate Finance & Restructuring at Baker Tilly Hong Kong and with Kroll Buchler Phillips, London (now AlixPartners).
Mr. Purser has recently completed a term as Chairman of the Asia Transformation & Turnaround Association. He has served or serves on a number of public bodies. He continues to advise companies, governmental bodies and stakeholders on issues of governance, business improvement and branding.
