Pattie Walsh is widely regarded as one of the leading employment lawyers in Asia. She is a partner in our International Employment Group, based in Hong Kong. Her practice covers both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues providing a ‘one stop shop’ for her international clients. Pattie advises on the full spectrum of employment issues, from day to day advice through to high profile disputes and strategic advice to a wide range of clients. In addition, she has extensive experience of the laws of the PRC, being one of only a very few non-Chinese lawyers to have fully developed detailed local knowledge of local PRC employment law.
Pattie contributes to numerous publications and books including the textbook ‘Hong Kong Employment Law - A Practical Guide’ which has been published in four editions since 2008 and a fifth is planned. She also writes a monthly column for the South China Morning Post on a diverse range of topical issues across Asia.
