Merche del Valle is the Regional Head of Talent and Leadership for Prudential Corporation Asia. She is responsible for building organisational capability to identify and develop Talent, elevating Prudential’s Leadership development proposition and ensuring quality of career management of all Talent and Leaders across Prudential Asian businesses (both Insurance and Asset Management). Her role also focuses on OD initiatives examining organisational capabilities for growth in the Region.
Merche has more than 18 years of experience in Talent, Leadership Development and Management Consulting in Asia and Europe. Prior to joining PCA in July 2011, she was Head of Leadership and Organizational Development in Unilever for South East Asia and Australasia (SEAA) based in Singapore. During her time in Unilever Merche led the Talent & Organisational Readiness Assessments in SEAA to aassess business critical areas to deliver Unilever’s strategy; ensuring the right talent, organisation, skills, culture and organisational capabilities in each market. Previously, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Spain, UK and Singapore mainly focusing on Talent, Leadership and Organisational Development building on an earlier career in Finance and Corporate Treasury.
Merche is in her 8th year in Asia, currently living in Hong Kong. She is an avid runner, scuba diver and snowboarder. She has a strong personal interest in Wellbeing and Nutrition and is currently pursuing accreditation in these areas.
