Head of Coaching
John Raymond has been involved in coaching since it began to take hold in the Australasian region in the mid-1990s. With thousands of hours of coaching experience across a range of industries and leadership levels spanning the Asia-Pacific region, John is an established industry thought leader. Passionate about the professionalisation of the industry, he has held leadership positions and contributed to multiple committees in the coaching industry over many years including his most recent contributions as President for the International Coach Federation—Australasia. He was also a member of the Standards Australia working party, which wrote the guideline for ‘Coaching in Organisations’—a global first.
As well as being a practicing coach, John is also passionate about empowering and equipping others with coaching capability. As Head of Coaching for IECL he has designed and delivered ‘Coaching Skills for Leaders’ programs for many organisations, spending over 100 days a year at the front of a training room developing others.
Through coaching and training managers at all levels, in public and private sectors throughout Asia-Pacific John understands the challenges that leaders face and the conversations that need to be happening in order to create a high performing and engaged workforce.
