HR Magazine’s first conference of 2015 was a huge success, with unprecedented attendance, inspiring and insightful speakers, and good fun all around. The day focused on recruitment and succession planning strategies, a rapidly evolving landscape littered with pitfalls, hard lessons and new technologies on the horizon.
All delegate spaces were filled long before the day, perhaps an indication that HR professionals in Hong Kong are just not sure about what they’re supposed to be doing to find the best talent, keep hold of it, and create a pipeline to fill their companies’ future leadership and skills gaps. From the use of social media and rebranding to attract both active and passive job seekers, to gamification as a tactic in change management, recruitment and succession planning in some of the most prestigious Asia-Pacific and international companies was thrown wide open.
