- German experts plan to hold talks on how HR can drive digital transformation
- Exchange between Chief Digital Officers and Personnel Managers is key
- HR will continue to look at the role of human beings in the future
From 11 to 13 September at Zukunft Personal Europe, German digital experts and management thought leaders will be discussing the future of HR and how management and digital units interface. Together they will examine how HR can position itself as the driver of digital transformation.
Even though the effects of digitalisation can already be felt in areas such as manufacturing, there is little doubt that human resource management continues to be one of the areas most strongly affected. So it is important to encourage an exchange between Chief Digital Officers and Personnel Managers. Zukunft Personal Europe has set itself this task as a platform for executives and is bringing both disciplines together during the exhibition.
Human resources managers and chief digital officers will meet for round table discussions, after which there will be a meet and greet with the #WOL co-founder John Stepper. Then the CDOs will hear about the latest trends and product innovations before taking part in a public panel discussion on Generation Y.
The talks will assist HR in looking at what the role of human beings will be in the future, in the midst of an increasingly digital economy in which algorithms and robots are taking on more and more knowledge-based work.
