Flora Chan is the Head of Human Resources, Senior Vice President of United Overseas Bank (UOB) Hong Kong Branch. UOB is a well-established leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 offices in 19 countries and territories.
Flora has been accelerating UOB transformation through leadership, differentiated talent models, attracting the best talents and building a culture of commitment, unity and distinction. She is a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity. UOB has been widely recognized as employee’s priority of choice.
Prior to UOB, Flora had international exposure and her experience enables her to strike a balance between global standardization and local customization which keeps her leading across borders effectively and serving a multitude of diverse stakeholders in an ever-changing and complex environment.
Flora has over 20 years of distinguished human resources and management experience across domestic and international organizations. Her comprehensive experience leading HR initiatives include policy design, compensation and rewards, performance management, talent acquisition, talent and organization development, regulatory compliance and HR system advancement. She was selected as the role model and received the accolade of "Value Champion of UOB" from the Bank.
Flora earned her Master Degree of Science in Finance from the City University of New York. She is also a certified Gallup coach and had numerous HR qualifications.
