CEOs will face increased challenges with globalisation, demographic shift, disruptive technology, employee engagement and constant transformation in 2014. Hay Group’s international conference ‘Leading Transformation’, held on 27–28 November 2013, outlined these five major areas of concern. The conference addressed issues such as the rise of emerging markets with lower costs, rapidly ageing workforces across much of Asia and a growing reliance on technology both in personal and professional lives. The conference welcomed leaders from different industries to share their personal experiences and discuss means for innovation and transformation.
