Accounting body CPA Australia successfully broke the Guinness World Record for the largest Business Speed Networking Event in history, with 406 mentors and mentees gathering together on 18 September to exchange professional advice and ideas.
In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, over 450 participants united at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, which was filled with festival decorations, to exchange information about career development while enjoying mooncakes.
Each mentor had three minutes with 20 mentees to share their advice on choosing accounting as a career path. The new record beats Kansas City's previous total of 357 last November.
