Gary is a senior consultant of Aon Hewitt’s Talent and Rewards Consulting practice, based in Hong Kong. He plays a pivotal role in managing Aon Hewitt’s Total Compensation Measurement™ Study (TCM™), and is the lead consultant of various market studies. He also provides coordination advice and analytical expertise on various Aon Hewitt data services to fit the needs of clients from different industries.
Gary’s areas of specialty include Total Rewards Strategy, Compensation and Benefits Benchmarking, Job Evaluation and Grade Structure, Salary Structure and Variable Pay Plan Design. He has partnered with multinational companies, local firms as well as government-related organizations, providing consulting solutions in terms of total rewards strategy, remuneration package review, job grading and evaluation, salary structure development, short-term incentive plan design, and market compensation and benefits benchmarking.
Prior to joining Hewitt, Gary worked as a compliance consultant in employment legislation in Hong Kong, providing advice on employment policies, employment package and conducting seminars and training workshops on employment-related ordinances.
Gary joined the company in 2007 and he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Master of Science Degree in Social and Organizational Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
