The Global conglomerate, the QI Group—with businesses in a broad range of industries including ecommerce, tourism, telecommunications and logistics—has just announced the appointment of Eleanor Chan as the new HR and Administration Manager for the organisation. Prior to her new position at QI Group, Chan worked for a number of MNCs in addition to HR roles at Dimexon Eurostar and at the Therm-O-Disc division of Emerson Group.
Chan commented, "I look forward to developing appropriate HR solutions for the company. My experience of working in MNCs has given me a greater appreciation of the multi-cultural environment. I am confident that my team can drive and implement the best procedures that will fit well with the company's exciting culture."
Richard Zinkiewicz, Director of International Operations said, "Bringing in talented professionals to our group is the first step towards enhancing our management and business performance. With Eleanor joining our team in Hong Kong, we continue to make significant inroads towards achieving our goals of professionalism and quality management in both the administration and human resource functions."
Reporting directly to Zinkiewicz, Chan will lead the Human Resources and Administration team and be responsible for driving those strategies for QI Group. One of her key objectives is to enhance current policies and procedures as well as updating the company's performance management processes.
