Gwen Lockington is an HR professional who works with organisations to align their people strategy with the business. She is passionate about creating an environment where employees love what they do and believes that to deliver this, developing management capability is critical. For the past 16 years she has led the HR function across the US, Canada and Asia Pacific primarily in technology and media industries. She has an extensive generalist background, including recruitment and retention, development, change management, benefits and compensation, HR policies development and Mergers and Acquisitions. Working across different locations and cultures has been an ongoing challenge that she continues to enjoy. Gwen holds a BA in Sociology and a MA in Human Relations. She is also certified by the Society of Human Resources Management as a Global Professional in Human Resources and has been a Mentor in the Women’s Foundation Mentor Program for the past two years.
