Bessie Chong joined Esquel Group, one of the global leading textile and apparel manufacturers with a vertically-integrated supply chain, in 2008. She shares the company’s philosophy of “Dare to Err but Quick to Learn” in her quest for continuous improvement in leading and driving people development initiatives to support company’s sustainable growth.
Before joining Esquel, she has worked for various sectors including Education, Hospitality, Trading and Retailing. She has more than 15 years of experience in talent development covering Talent Selection, Requisition and Management; Performance Management; Succession Planning; Employer Branding; Job Profiling and E-Learning.
Bessie received Bachelor of Arts in Economics with distinction from University of Alberta in Canada, Master of Science in Economics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and PhD in Economics and Finance from City University of Hong Kong.
