Chris Meyrick is the Vice President, Human Resources, Asia Pacific for American Express, a position he assumed in April 2013. Chris leads the HR function in developing talent strategies and solutions across 12 markets in Asia Pacific.
As a seasoned human resources practitioner, Chris has extensive experience in change management, designing and implementing effective human resources initiatives. He joined American Express in 2007 in Sydney as Director for World Services. In 2009 he relocated to New York as the VP HR Business Partner for Global Business Travel Operations. Subsequently, Chris oversaw the talent management for American Express OPEN, the company’s small business division in the United States.
Chris has held a variety of human resources and business roles in the banking and telecommunications industries prior to joining American Express. He is currently based in Hong Kong.
